Day 01: Arrival at Delhi
Company representatives from TNS will receive you on arrival at the international airport in Delhi. They will transfer you to your hotel, where you can relax and will stay overnight.
After breakfast full-day guided sightseeing tour of New and Old Delhi.
OLD DELHI - A sight-seeing tour of Old Delhi would entail visiting the Raj Ghat - the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated; Jama Masjid - the largest mosque in India; and the Red Fort - once the most opulent fort and palace of the Moghul Empire.
Enjoy the
cycle rickshaw ride from Jama Masjid to Chandni Chowk.
NEW DELHI - An extensive sightseeing tour of New Delhi would include a visit to the Humayun's Tomb, the Qutub Minar, a drive along the ceremonial avenue - Rajpath, and cruising past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House, the President's Residence, and Lotus Temple. It would end with a drive through the Diplomatic Enclave.
In the evening, proceed to see the
DANCES OF INDIA show in the evening before retiring to your hotel for the night.
Day 02: Delhi - Srinagar
Morning - transfer to airport for flight to Srinagar. On arrival transfer to Deluxe Houseboat. Evening Boat trip to floating gardens.
Srinagar is the capital city of the Kashmir and Jammu state in India. It is located on the Kashmir Valley and is found on the banks of the River Jhelum, which is a stream of the Indus. The city of Srinagar is very popular for its houseboats and lakes. In addition, it is well known for the Kashmiri handicrafts as well as dry fruits. It is the administrative headquarters of both the Srinagar division and Srinagar district.
Day 03: Srinagar
After breakfast proceed for the day tour of Srinagar to visit some of the beautiful places.
The Dal Lake and the
Nagin Lake are quite famous for their beauty. Another factor that adds some more charm to these lakes is the luxurious Houseboat tour. These houseboats not only provide luxurious stay equivalent to a five star hotel, but also provide a rare chance to spend your holidays on waters exploring the true beauty of the region.
Mughal gardens are the most colourful feature of Srinagar. Built by the Mughal Emperors, these gardens are located around the Dal lake. The most frequented gardens are
Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, Chashmashahi, Parimahal and Harwan.
The
Hazratbal shrine and
Jama Masjid are the famous Muslim shrines. Hazratbal Shrine is the revered place where the sacred hair of the holy Prophet Mohammad is preserved and displayed on various occasions related to Prophet's life. While Jama Masjid (laid down in 1398 AD by Sultan Sikandar), the oldest mosque, is located in the heart of the city. Both the shrines are true architectural marbles.
The
Shankaracharya temple (oldest temple, built in 371 BC),
Khir Bhawani temple and
Shakira Devi temple are the renowned Hindu shrines in Srinagar. Tourists in large numbers flock to these places to enjoy the spiritual nirvana.
Day 04: Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar
After a sumptuous breakfast in the morning, ensue for an exciting day excursion to Gulmarg.
The dazzling hill station of
Gulmarg is sprinkled with amazing sites attracting the tourists. Khilanmarg, the spot for skiing in winters is also a place to enjoy the magnificence of the Kashmir valley and the Himalayan range.
Alpather Lake, a pictorial alpine lake that remains frozen until late June. From Khilanmarg the lake places across the Apharwat peak. Travelers must take the one-day and thirteen km trip to the Alpather Lake from Gulmarg.
Day 05: Srinagar - Kargil
Morning drive to Kargil. On arrival check in at hotel.
Day 06: Kargil - Leh
Morning - drive to Leh - on arrival check in at hotel.
Day 07: Leh
Day at leisure, so you could get used to altitude, evening - visit to Market and Leh Palace.
Day 08: Around Leh
sightseeing tour of surrounding areas. Overnight at hotel in Leh.
Day 09: Leh - Alchi
Morning drive to Alchi. On arrival check in at hotel. Afternoon - sightseeing tour of Alchi and surrounding areas.
Day 10: Alchi - Leh

Morning free - afternoon drive to Leh. On arrival check in at hotel.
Day 11: Leh- Jammu
Morning transfer to airport for flight for Jammu. Day tour of city.
Day 12: Jammu - Amritsar
Drive to Amritsar, on arrival in Amritsar check in at hotel. Evening - visit to Golden temple to witness the Pooja Ceremony. Overnight at hotel.
Day 13: Amritsar - Delhi
Morning transfer to railway station for train for Delhi. On arrival
check in at hotel. Rest of the day free.
Day 14: Delhi - Jaipur
Morning - drive to Jaipur, on arrival in Jaipur check in at hotel. Stay overnight at Hotel.
Day 15: Jaipur
Morning Excursion to Amer fort followed by sightseeing tour of Jaipur city. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 16: Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra
Morning drive to Agra, en-route visit to Fatehpur Sikri and Bharatpur Bird sanctuary on arrival Agra check in at hotel.
Day 17: Agra - Delhi
Early morning wake up call. Transfer to Taj Mahal, after watching Taj during sunrise transfer to hotel for breakfast and wash and change, followed by sightseeing tour of Agra city, afternoon drive to Delhi.
Day 18: Delhi
Day free for shopping in Delhi. Evening transfer to airport for flight to Delhi. TNS Travel will arrange a
FAREWELL DINNER before reaching the airport for flight home with sweet memories of India.
