 The Bagh Resort spells luxury and comfort at Bharatpur. Accommodation: The Bagh has as many as five residential complexes with 23 rooms in all. Known as Champa, Mogra, Gulab, Anar, and Surkhab Bhawans, all the complexes have verandahs, patios, and corridors. The rooms are elegant, comfortable and luxurious and weave in a bit of history and ethnicity in their interiors. All the rooms are unique with spacious bathrooms, fine furnishings, modern amenities, luxurious upholstery and intricately carved handmade furniture.
Cuisine: Apart from traditional Rajasthani cuisine, the in-house restaurant at The Bagh known as Gulmohar serves Indian, Continental, and Chinese cuisines too. However, the vegetarian delicacies of the Braj region – the birthplace and playground of Lord Krishna – here are quite popular and constitute a distinct identity to it.
There is a well-stocked indoor bar called Morchalli as well as an outdoor bar called Mahua that serve non-alcoholic as well as alcoholic drinks in soothing yet imperial ambience. The refreshing brews with mouth-watering snacks at the Mayur Café are even more enjoyable with picturesque views of the well-maintained gardens.
Amenities & Services: The Bagh has a huge garden complex, with 2.5 km of walkways that present beauty of Nature manicured by artists in lovely forms. As soon as you enter the Reception area at Chameli or the entrance block, you will find a business center a well-stocked library called Semal containing books on wildlife, natural history and birds – the main attractions of Bharatpur.
There is a vintage garage at The Bagh, where you can find a 1946 Chrysler Plymouth, a 1938 ten Series III Morris, a 1918 Model T Ford, and a Jeep of World War II. The festivals and live performances organized at the premises on a regular basis are quite popular among guests while the gift shop features art and craft specimens that are worth entering a collection of an art connoisseur.
